Our sires at Talgai Santa Gertrudis are chosen for their herd improving traits for the commercial cattle producer. We believe that fertility is one of the strongest traits that should be in any herd. Our aim is to breed high growth, well muscled, easy finishing cattle to meet market specifications.
Talgai Milton (PP)
Was retained for his strong resemblance to his sire Strathmore F262 (PS). He displays a strong poll head, impressive volume and thickness, and a clean coat, all complemented by a quiet temperament. His progeny have performed well, with sons averaging $11,050 and reaching a top price of $26,000. We have retained daughters in the stud herd and sons for use in our commercial breeding program.
